Fengdu Farmers’ Clubs project organized village enthusiasts to attend Carrefour training on Direct Purchasing

On Nov. 22, the Carrefour China Chongqing Farmer Cooperatives Training on Direct Purchasing was conducted in Chongqing Wanzhou International Hotel. There were 105 farmer cooperatives and agriculture committee members from every district in Chongqing attending this training.
Carrefour – HPP Fengdu Farmers’ Clubs (FC) project team organized 8 village enthusiasts from the 3 project villages (2 HPP Farming Instructors, 3 village committee leaders, 3 leading producers in planting) plus 2 project leaders to attend this training.
On this training, department managers from Carrefour and experts from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural sciences gave presentations on 4 topics, sharing the knowledge of food safety, Direct Purchasing and agricultural products export.
Thanks to the Carrefour Foundation, attendees from Fengdu FC project have learnt a lot from this training and the exchange with other farmer cooperatives.
