Kunming Heavy Industry Middle School was established in 1959. It is a nine-year public school with a 62-year school history. The school is a national campus football characteristic school, a national campus basketball characteristic school, a Yunnan province language model school, a Yunnan province green school, a Kunming civilized school, a Kunming language and literature model school, and a Kunming safe campus.
