The No. 10 Middle School of Kunming City, Yunnan Province (referred to as "Kunming No. 10 Middle School") is one of the century-old famous schools in Yunnan Province. In 1920, Mr. Su Honggang, a senior in the education field of Yunnan Province and a famous patriotic democrat, founded the predecessor of Kunshi Middle School - Qiushi Middle School Kunshi Middle School has always adhered to the core of the school motto of "seeking truth", combining the style of "fine carving" and "advocating first-class". The attitude of the people is organically combined, and the quality education is the center to run a school that the people are satisfied with.

In 1980, it was approved as a provincial key middle school, and in 1994, it was rated as a provincial first-class (second-class) complete middle school. In 2009, it was promoted to the provincial first-class high school. In May 2010, the International Department was established and Canadian international high school classes were opened.

Kunshi No. 1 Middle School has sent more than 70,000 graduates to the country and society, including Nie Er, Yang Su, Xuanke, Wu Rongxue, Liu Zier and many other outstanding talents.
