On June 24, 2022, after 36 months of project implementation, we held the closing meeting of the HPP Tenglang Village Preschool Education - Aibei Angel Preschool of the Future Project in Tengchong City.
The project is funded by the China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC) - Aibei Angel Fund and implemented in cooperation with the Tengchong City Bureau of Education and Sports, serving local children aged 3-6. The project supports the development of early childhood education in remote rural areas and improves the quality of early childhood education services through the community model of the Preschools of the Future project.
On the same day, leaders of the Education and Sports Bureau, central schools, elementary school, village committees, teachers and parent representatives of early childhood classes attended the exchange meeting, and reviewed and summarized the project.
Since 2019, the project has focused on "improving the hardware facilities of kindergarten classes, enhancing the comprehensive ability of teachers, and promoting “Kindergarten – Home co-parenting" to implement project activities. Specifically, the project included repairing the infrastructure of kindergarten classrooms, lunchrooms and outdoor areas, replenishing playground equipment, providing regular professional and systematic training services for teachers, establishing parent committees to participate in the management of kindergarten class affairs, carrying out game-based teaching, and designing the curriculum according to the five major areas of health, language, social, science and art. ......
In 2019, with the support of the project, the kindergarten passed the quality evaluation organized by the Bureau of Education and Sports, and received a "Level 3, Grade 3" quality grade. During this period, the kindergarten continued to improve its foundation and capacity development, and in order to continue to promote the development of the kindergarten in the direction of professionalism, it participated in a second quality evaluation at the end of May 2022 and the result will be published before the end of the year.
Reviewing the results achieved by Tenglang Future Hope Kindergarten today, everyone gave positive affirmation and thanks, and all said that with the support of the project, the kindergarten gradually developed towards the road of standardization of early childhood management and professionalization of early childhood education, becoming a model kindergarten in the countryside and driving and radiating the better and faster development of early childhood education in the surrounding villages.
At present, the kindergarten has been running maturely and will be handed over to the local education department after the project ends in July 2022, responsible for the daily operation and management of the early childhood class. After the withdrawal of HPP, we will continue to pay attention to the development of the kindergarten and invite the teachers of the early childhood class to participate in the online training and other activities organized by the organization.
Although this project is over, the guardianship of rural children's dreams continues. May Tenglong Kindergarten continue to sail and embrace its dreams in the future!
