A toy car that “escaped” from the preschool class

I'm Xiao Nian, I'm 5 years old, my mother works outside for a long time and I miss her when I live with my grandparents. Whenever this happens, I go and hug the big yellow dog and take him for a walk around the village.

Big yellow dog, not only is my best friend, it is also my toy. My mother seldom comes home and my grandparents seldom buy toys for me. They always say that I am already in preschool and have to study hard and not think about playing with toys all the time.

But since I have been in the preschool, everything has been different. Because there are many different kinds of toys in preschool, especially my favorite toy car. Besides toy cars, there are also snowflakes, blocks, puzzles, bicycles, basketballs ...... There are so many, so many that I can't even count them all.

I'm curious about my grandparents saying that preschool was a place for learning, why was it almost like a big playground?

Then I got to know that the toys were not bought by the teachers, but by some uncles and aunts who purchased them for us. Not only toys, but also tables, chairs and benches, electronic whiteboards, picture books ...... That's why our preschool class is so beautiful.

In the preschool class, the teacher will give us some time to play by ourselves in the play corner every day. Every time, I choose my favorite toy car.

There are cranes, trucks, small cars ....... No matter what toy car it is, it always attracts the attention of our little boys, the four tiny wheels always carry the different shapes of the body around, and if this toy car can also be transformed, then it must be quite cool.

One day after school, my best friend was again picked up by his mother, and I hadn't seen my mother in months.

So I came home depressed and asked my grandma when exactly my mother would be back.

Grandma said to wait until Chinese New Year.

I was sad to go out with the big yellow dog and suddenly thought how nice it would be if the dog could transform into a car so he could take me to Mom.

So the next day after school, I quietly brought the toy car home. I wanted it to transform and take me to a faraway city , so I could find my Mom.

As a result, the other kids knew about the toy car I brought home from preschool.

I didn't dare to look up at the teacher when I went to school and always subconsciously avoided her, I was afraid that she would question me face to face if I had taken a toy car home.

The toy car, a cool little yellow car, it was the fastest of all the toy cars. That's why I chose it to bring back.

The stressful day was finally over and the teacher didn't ask about the little car.

The night I got home, I once again hid under the covers with my toy car, thinking it would take me to my Mom.

But looking at it for the second time already, I realized the car is still a car, it doesn't transform at all.

I suddenly didn't like the little car, so I thought I'd take it back to the preschool the next day and put it back.

No sooner had I taken the toy out of my schoolbag than the teacher found it.

She came over to me and asked me very gently, "Hey, it turned out that Nian Nian had captured the escaped car, Nian Nian is great!

The teacher took me with her and put the toy car back in the storage box.

When I got home in the afternoon, I got a call from my Mom. Mom said she would be back next week and that our teacher had called her today to spend a little more time caring and looking after me.

Wow, so the teacher is the superman yeah! I love my teacher and I love the toy cars !


Project Description:

Qiaojia Dongping Township, Yangliu, Shuye, Laowu and Anju Village POF is funded by Lipoid Foundation, and HPP cooperates with Qiaojia Education and Sports Bureau to assist in the implementation. The project takes early education as the entry point, improves the hardware facilities and teaching aids of preschool classes and organizes professional and systematic training for teachers regularly. A play-based curriculum in the five domains is developed around the Learning and Development Guidelines to avoid the tendency to teach in a primary school setting and to achieve the holistic and balanced development of children. The project team regularly supervises preschool classes to help teachers solve difficulties and problems in daily teaching activities. The project focuses on game-based teaching, provides tools such as teacher management kits and teaching materials, improves the coverage of preschool education in rural areas, and improves the quality of preschool education in rural areas, so that more children can receive high-quality preschool education.
