Songming Vocational Education Base No. 1 Primary School (now renamed as No. 1 Primary School of Songming Vocational Education New Town) is a public primary school jointly run by Songming Vocational Education Park with the introduction of high-quality education resources -- Kunming Teachers' College Affiliated Primary School. Located in the southwest of the branch entrance of Wenyuan Road and Wenxuan Road in Songming Vocational Education Park, the school was established in August 2016 and officially enrolled students in the same month. In 2019, the vocational education Park was renamed as the New Vocational Education Town, so the school was renamed as Songming Vocational Education New Town No. 1 Primary School. Covering an area of 47.7 mu, the total construction area of 11159 square meters, the school has 24 teaching classes. At present, the school has 22 classes, 967 students, 47 teachers. Among them, there are 1 Kunming famous teaching teacher, 1 municipal famous head teacher, 1 municipal subject leader, 1 municipal backbone teacher, 11 municipal rookie teachers, 2 county and district level subject leaders and 4 county and district level backbone teachers.
