Founded in 1981, the No. 1 Kindergarten in Xishan District, Kunming City, is a full-time public kindergarten under the supervision of the Xishan District Education Bureau.

The kindergarten covers an area of 30 acres, with a construction area of 2264 square meters.  The kindergarten currently has 9 teaching classes with 305 children in the kindergarten. The teacher qualification rate is 100%. Health care doctors have college degrees and intermediate titles in the medical series.
