HPP FC Fengdu and FC Wulong Farming Instructor teams are both located in Chongqing, therefore, they learn and communicate with each other to even better serve their villages.

The farming instructors from Wulong and Fengdu received trainings and learning exchange at Citibank’s Chongqing Branch, the associate organization of Citi Foundation who is the donor of the Wulong project. This is one of the corporate volunteer activities of Citi Group. The farming instructors learnt about the establishment of small enterprises and planning; budgets and break-even point; and learned about loans, family financial management and accounting, project selection, and other topics.

The Wulong Project organized Haokou township government officers, farm instructors and breeding households to visit and learn at the Fengdu Project. Main activities were farming instructor capacity building such as report forms, operative skills, etc. After that they visited the Carrefour-Fengdu Project, learnt from the project’s successful experiences and also visited cattle breeding and other industries in Fengdu.

In general they benefiteda lot from the above communications,, said that the content was informative,  broadened their horizons, and also could get a deeper understanding of rural poverty alleviation and development.m These factors all have an important influence  on project training and implementation.
